Lake Forest Soccer Association prides itself on player development.  The emphasis is not on winning but having each player perform to their fullest.  Winning often comes as a result of proper player development.

LFSA teams have won the Illinois State Cup and our club has graduated 8 players to National Olympic Team pools, 11 to Regional Olympic teams, and numerous have been named Illinois State Olympic Development Players.  The most recent notable outstanding players are Rachel Quon who was announced the National Gatorade Player of the year for 2009 and Nicole Lipp, Gatorade finalist. 

Furthermore, many of our developed players have recently committed to or play for Division I schools including:  Stanford, Duke, Northwestern, Colgate, Washington U., Davidson, Notre Dame, as well as many others.
