Rosters for the 2013-2014 Travel Teams are now posted under Tryouts. 

Thank you to all players who came to tryouts for LFSA.  We had a very strong talent pool this year.  Also thank you to the volunteers who helped tryouts run smoothly.  We couldn’t have done it without you!@

The coaching staff considered each player’s performance carefully.  Players were placed on the team which has the best fit for their skills and development.   In some cases, alternates have been also named to a team.  In the event that a player declines their roster position, alternate players will be placed on the roster.

Registrations will take place this week.  Registration instructions will be updated on the website Monday, June 3.  Online registration is due by Friday, June 7.  All forms and fees are due by Sunday, June 9th. 

If your child does not wish to accept their position, please email LFSA at soccer@lfsa.org  as soon as possible.

Rachel Quon, of Lake Forest, and current defender for Chicago Red Stars, has been named to Canada’s 18-player roster for the Women’s International Friendly Soccer Match between USA and Canada, to be played June 2, in Toronto.  Read more........

Training will be built on the ’Centers of Excellence’ model and scheduled such that it does not interfere with their existing location team’s training and play. As with Magic boy’s, traveling and driving demands are to be kept within reason to balance school and soccer demands for younger players. In   conjunction with the new program, both clubs have dedicated themselves to a renewed effort and investment in their local girl’s programs, the foundation for PSG Elite.

Specific details about the program will be distributed by program coaches to members regarding tryouts, fees, and level of commitment.
