LFSA Travel Soccer Program Description
10 months of soccer!

The LFSA program for 20010-2011 is for Boys and Girls ages 6-17.

LFSA is proud to have a comprehensive training program for its players.

*      August Pre-season (4 weeks) beginning 8/2: The 2010-2011 Season begins with a clinic that develops the players’ skills, as well as gives team players the opportunity to meet and have fun before the upcoming season. The clinic runs Monday through Thursday and practices last 1½ hours each. Players are encouraged to come to as many practices as possible, although LFSA recognizes that many families still travel during this time. LFSA will have a Kick-Off Night on the final day, August 26th. There will be no regular practices that day.

*      Fall Season (11 weeks): The Fall Season lasts 11 weeks and is comprised of 2 practices each week (1 ½ hours each) and 10 games on weekends. The Fall Season generally ends Mid-November. Practice schedules will be available at the beginning of July. Game schedules will be available mid-August.

*      Indoor Season (10 weeks): The Indoor Season runs from January to mid-March. Practices are once a week for 1 hour each.  Games for U9-U12 are played at the HP Fieldhouse or at the Libertyville Sports Complex.

*      Spring Season (10-11 weeks): The Spring Season is similar to the Fall Season. Each team will have 2 practices each week (1½ hours each) beginning after Spring Break. The season will run until mid-June and will consist of 8 or 9  games.

*      Tournaments: One tournament is included in the cost of registration, although teams may choose to participate in additional tournaments at an additional cost. Tournaments typically attended are over Labor Day and Memorial Day Weekends.

Please note that all practices and home games take place on local Lake Forest Fields. Half of all Fall and Spring Games are played on Home Fields.
