Team Registration Info
2010-2011 Season

Club Registration will take place online this year and teams will be posted online shortly after tryouts.

You must secure your child’s space on a team by the time/date designated in your personal e-mail following team placement (roughly within 42 hours of posting).  We realize that this may seem quick but for those who are waitlisted, every hour can seem an eternity.

This coming season is mandatory new uniform year.  We will be hosting a uniform night shortly following tryouts where Kiddles will be on hand.  We thank Kiddles and the substantial discount that they pass to LFSA club members.    Date: TBA

Tuition for the 2010-2011 seaosn is:

U8:           $1,640

U9-U14:    $1,845

U15-U18    $1,495

Stay tuned for more details.

Thanks!

FAQ - What is the difference between the Blue, White and Gold Teams?
Select, Premier, and Classic are used for teams U10-U18 instead of blue/white/gold

The name designation for each team depends on the relative strength of the age group as a whole. The strength of the teams depends on the skill level of the kids that come to tryouts that year. Sometimes the teams are barely distinguishable talent-wise, other times our Blue teams are much stronger than the White teams.  Occasionally we are fortunate enough to have enough players show up to make three teams (the roster limit is set by the Illinois Youth Soccer Association). Again, sometimes there is barely any distinction between the White and Gold (3rd) teams, and sometimes the White team is stronger.

The Coaches gather as a group to discuss each player. They do their best to place them on the appropriate teams and in the appropriate divisions so that they will find success. There is always room for advancement for players from one year to the next, and there is no guarantee that a player will remain on the same team.

In the case of ALL teams, the amount of playing and practice time included in the LFSA program is the same, and all are given experienced Professional Coaches that will help players develop their soccer skills.
